Thanks for this. Does the adapter (see image) add to this. It seems like it makes the "flange" longer so it would make the crop factor even higher.

Yeah I did just learn about the F stop changing with the crop factor. I imagine the CCTV lenses they don't have that problem? Since they're designed for the C-mount? I also ordered a Fujinon TV-Z lens for C-mount since it was $40 and it has F/1.2 can't quite tell what the range is from the photos for the focal length zoom.

I primarily take photos at a park and one thing I'm trying to address is the blocky-look of tree branches in the distance. Which I'm not sure if I can fix that. Would think setting F-stop higher would be a good thing. I've been told some lenses are designed to focus better closer than far, and this lens doesn't have these "floating elements". Referring to the 16mm 10MP blue ring C lens, referencing comparison stacked image.
