@crumble Please try with a small over-voltage, e.g. "over_voltage=4" - the optimisations you tend to get with jumps in kernel versions can stress the power infrastructure in new ways, making a once stable system less so.
Seems to be undervoltage. Measured with vcgencmd measure_volts :

over_voltage=0 => 0.8928V
over_voltage=4 => 0.9922V
over_voltage=6 => 1.0000V

I increased up to 12. Since 6 it got more stable. But none of settings were stable over the long run.
The strange thing: when I got a good inference run it stayed good. Maybe some kind of copy mem operation needs more energy than the calculation part.

Is there a config entry to change the DRAM settings?
