It looks like HP just announced the equivalent of a dark

We'll have to see what price and availability on it is but it looks to me like a (Pi inspired) product looking for a market.

For call centres surely existing thin client/"mini" PC solutions are fine?

For road warriors the lack of a screen and battery seems like a deal breaker. Especially if travelling on trains and planes and intending to work while travelling.

For hot desking, I don't see the advantage over a laptop either.

For those who split their work time between home and office, you're now looking at providing two screens per person (one at work and one at home) as opposed (probably) to none if they use a laptop.
