Troubleshooting • Re: Rpi5 Power Problems

After my first reply I got a new fresh install of Raspbian OS Full in the SD card. I continue to read online about this and it seems that some people have experience this since the first Rpi, sometimes it happens, other not. Either way this does not look like a power problem right now (maybe the part when it read correctly the USB drive and the wireless keyboard don't work good, but now the drive is never mounted).

Anyway, I was trying using more the board with the fresh install of the OS and I did several things: change from wayland to X11 to use teamviewer, set the correct timezone, add pluggins in taskbar, and other little things. Until this point I did not insert the USB Drive. Afterwards, I wanted to test if retroarch worked in Rpi5. I first installed via apt, then uninstalled and later I was trying to compile it from source with their guide. While I was reading about the compilation I inserted the USB drive for some reason, and it was mounted without trouble.

I don't know why that happened, I was not even trying to fix it. The thing is that after a while (which implicated moving from work, the place I was testing all the above, to my house) the USB drive was again not being mounted. The first thing that came to my mind was the Source protector used in both places, but today I'm trying again at work and nothing, the USB drive is not mounted even after (another) fresh OS installation.

I will keep reading but some posts (viewtopic.php?t=127956&sid=34020b68d32d ... 4b4f248a5e viewtopic.php?t=127956) are not working for me until now. I might open a different post in order to fix this because, like I said before, right now this does not look like a power problem
