You guys need a WAY WAY BETTER method of releasing your PiOS.

The very fact that I'm confused, speaks volumes.

I use various other OS software, where releases are NUMBERED, or in Debian's own case, NAMED, so there's zero confusion.

Saying an OS is "Released", means nothing to someone used to OS versions.

An - "RC" version is "released".
Version X.0, or X.0.1... Is "released".

Debian itself.... labelled as "Stable", "Testing", "unstable".....

https://www.debian.org/releases/

TrueNAS server software.....

https://www.truenas.com/docs/softwarestatus/

OpenWrt Router OS....

https://forum.openwrt.org/c/announcements/14

In this same forum, PiOS Trixie is mentioned in the "Beta" forum, late 2025.
However there is zero definite labeling of a STABLE release..... Again, please do not use the word "Released" as a synonym for "Stable".

At the very least, follow Debian's naming convention of "Testing" / "Beta", and "Stable".
