If you have a voltmeter it may indicate the 3.3V is out of spec, not much help but may confirm the board is faulty. Power supply circuits are much more susceptible to faults than memory chips.

You could be lucky and find a short or other physical fault with a magnifying glass.
I had a fan connected to the board, maybe that was the cause. Is there any testing guide? I have a multimeter here, I can run some tests.

Just measure between the GPIO 3.3V and OV pins, but make sure you don't short any pins together.
I tested between 5 and 3.3 volts on the GPIO and they're okay. It really seems like it's the memory. It's a shame, I barely used this board and it's already malfunctioning.
