That's correct, and that has bumped itself to 2.0.4 so 2.0.3 and earlier should have noted that, should have produced a new version available pop-up. None do.I don't think this popup used github releases as a reference but rather the apt repo
True. That was setting "check_version" to "false" in "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Raspberry Pi\Imager" to disable the check.I remember we changed a registry key on our windows version though (for 1.9.x releases)
But all Imager 2.0.x have used "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Raspberry Pi\Raspberry Pi Imager" for registry data, and I have no "check_version" in there.
With "check_version" set "true", my 1.9.6 again reports a new version available, none of my 2.0.x versions do. So it doesn't seem 2.0.x is looking in the old registry location.
Maybe "new version available" will be with 2.1.0 or 3.0.0 and it's time to look at the source code perhaps ?
