Troubleshooting • motioneye on Trixie: failure to obtain Authorization Key

I don't know that this is only a problem on RPi5, but I get motioneye to install and run fine but I can't seem to get it to upload to Google Drive. The problem is that when I click on the "Authorization key" in the side panel of motioneye in the browser, I'm navigated to a page that says:

"Access blocked. motionEye's request is invalid"

"You can’t sign in because motionEye sent an invalid request. You can try again later, or contact the developer about this issue. Learn more about this error
If you are a developer of motionEye, see error details.
Error 400: invalid_request"

Note the request is being sent to the correct Google account, however it is failing.

Details link says:
"The out-of-band (OOB) flow has been blocked in order to keep users secure. Follow the Out-of-Band (OOB) flow migration guide linked in the developer docs...."

And the developer docs talk about how compliance has been tightened up for OOB as last of 2023. I think that motioneye tried and failed to logon with my OAuth credentials - possibly due to this issue ? I'm stumped at this point. I'm not married to Google Drive but it would be easiest. Any advice appreciated, thanks.
