Compute Module • CM5 Has Power, No Status or Power Lights

I bought this unit over a year ago and it never worked. I'm out of warranty and I'm wondering if it's an IO board issue or a CM5 issue.

When I first started It, I did get a solid red light on the Power LED but it would never boot from the SD card. I got busy with life and never had a chance to troubleshoot.

I picked it up after a year and as of today here is what I see:

• No red power LED light is coming on anymore.
• The fan on the case is turning when the CM Module 5 is seated on the IO board.
• I tried removing the CM5 module, the fan goes off, but no other changes.
• I tested the power supply using a voltammeter and it's steady at 5.1 volts. I'm using the original 27volt Rasberry PI power supply.
• The red power LED and the green status LED lights never come on anymore.
