your advice with to find the same kernel version as openwrt, when there two completely separate operating systems
I need something working as soon as possible

I have tried everything I can think of, but need a solution

if Network manager is set to 10.42.1.1 on the raspberry pi 4 with the openvpn link to 10.42.0.1 it should act as if its the same network, correct?
so passing DHCP from 10.42.0.1 should give internet access, correct?
you could access 10.42.0.1 from 10.42.1.1 when I had it setup like that
