Thanks! That ''wide links = ...' looks good. Do I set it int the share section or the global section?Almost certainly a server configuration issue. Neither Windows nor the smb protocol understand symbolic links.
You need to do at least two things:
- Check the permissions on the directory the link points to are correct. Symlink permissions are always rwxrwxrwx. You need to check permissions on the target.
