does this have to do with Chromium is not available for the current piOS distro? I updated the OS to current recently and there was no current Chromium that is equivialent to Chrome version 100+. I had to abandon Chromium and move to Firefox, and since then my Google calendar embed iframe on my home localhost:// .html page no longer works. Seems like modern security if neutering this type of solution.

I can open chromium and Firefox just fine from the terminal or the desktop links. I’m just trying to get chromium to open at startup to a particular site of my choosing. I’ve been getting errors up the you know what lately in my console on chromium for my localhost. Those are more related to the cross site cookie changes that are upcoming. I don’t think that’ll change much for my locally hosted site. I did move away from almost all of my iframes though, except my current traffic deal and Google calendar. I have been diving into the Google calendar API lately and I want to get that going so I can eliminate the iFrame embed, but their security setup is a pain for something as simple as a quick command display. I assume that’s what Dakboard does, but I haven’t had the time to delve into too far. I pull weather from the National weather service now and their API and I found a way on GitHub to pull live scores for local teams on ESPN, so I moved away from my ScoreStream widget. I don’t fetch that often to ESPN though, as I don’t want to get the urge to shut me down. I don’t look at the live scores that often, but it’s cool to have that and a little ticket at the bottom for news. I’m more in the html, css, JavaScript land then Linux, so I get a bit lost here.
