Hi All,
Let me add one more thing.
As I mentioned I have the ESP32 'clock' setup to use this wifi RPI access point. As a test I asked my laptop (win10) to use the same AP. Below is a trace from syslog. At the beginning is the point where I push the reset button on the ESP32 and expect it to connect.
Then a bit further down I connect the laptop to the AP. Notice the other MAC address.
What's happening there? This only started happening after I upgraded the router (asus rt-ac68u) to latest firmware. Prior the little clock was working just fine. Did the new asus firmware expose a yet unknown flaw int he RPI AP?
Thanks,
Gert
