Hi.
Could I plug a 5V USB fan into a Pi 5's own onboard USB port?
I have found these 5v Noctua fans which come with a USB plug adaptor:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Noctua-NF-A4x1 ... 071W6JZV8/
There are two versions, one standard, and one with PWM. After reading it seems PWM allows the speed of the fan to be controlled.
If it would be possible to run these fans off the Pi's ow nin-built USB port?
And of so could the fan speed also be controlled through the Pi's USB port? Or would this require extra hardware (which is a route I don't want to go down) but would be happy to control the fan speed purely through softweare or by using oneof the GPIO pins for the PWN line/wire.
Could anyone off any advice? Many thanks for your help.
