You might have a bad sensor. I once purchased 10 together and 2 of them were bad. One just did not work at all and the other one would frequently not work.Thanks for your answer. I tried it with differnet times up to 10 sec but it is the same. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't.You are possibly reading the sensor too fast. If I recall correctly, these sensors need 1 or 2 seconds to go by before they can give you another reading.
Get another one, if it works, then you'll know the one you have now is flaky/bad.
