Having done the initiation by using PyGame for an elementary slide show, I wanted to try out freemium signage OS.

Anthias didn't work for me because it kept calling Home (a Balena server) every few seconds, and it got flagged in my farm.

Sadly, here is the reply from Yodeck in response to my Hello World struggle:

The Player you are using is a very old one, and it has limited capabilities as it has limited RAM memory, and it can't load the content at all.
You can buy a newer version from us as a standalone player, or you can get one player for free if you subscribe annually to a paid plan.

Is there truly a FREE signage OS for a single RPi instance, since all vendors need to feed their families? Thanks.
