My point is that the UI approach to fix the issue doesn't work and my terminal workaround isn't permanent and is just a workaround.
I believe that when there is a GUI with a specific task (such as mapping the touch screen to a specific screen) it should work without having to write scripts that fix shortcomings in the GUI approach.
