AIUI wayvnc runs when using the (default) "wayland desktop" (on a P5 or P4B with enough memory) and the suggested VNC viewer is TigerVNC. If one reverts back to the X desktop etc. and re-enables the VNC server it's now RealVNC that's in use and the viewer is (back to) the RealVNC one. FWIW some examples/screenshots etc. (albeit Pi-to-Pi) can be seen here:I'm confused about the wayvnc, but realvnc comes with the distribution which was disabled. Installing another vnc program such as tightvnc eliminates realvnc due to conflicting commands.
wayvnc has always been on the system and checking it shows that wayvnc is already the newest version (0.8.0-rel-1).

and also, should it be useful, some guidance on launching RealVNC's virtual desktop mode.
