Yes but it (hopefully!) got to you via a ship, not air-freight.

So far as I recall (I've had it for about three years), it got to me by truck. That said, the rules for personal luggage/carry-on are almost certainly different than the rules for air freight.

Carry on limit is also usually 100Wh, or 160Wh with prior approval. But lots of airlines are now banning use of these units whilst on-board.
