If the final batch of these beggars work (some of the ICs I've been using are relatively new to me so I've not tested them on a single board) I can always send you my spare if you fancy implementing something around it. I usually pony up for five at a time but I've run out of money (I got caught out by some critical missing info on a datasheet - don't ask
and also forgot to use an impedance controlled board so the USB didn't play nice either. 
) That was kinda painful.It's very easy to use so there's that, although the current working on is "monitor" only on the I2S which is all I needed for the Octopus, the USB makes it a lot easier to see what's going on even though it can't work as a display.
