I used Imager 2.0.0 (enter WiFi details etc.) to write 64-bit Trixie Lite to a card and booted a Pi zero 2W from that. All OK. login via SSH to see:

Code:

Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Rev 1.0pi@pi:~ $ getconf LONG_BIT64pi@pi:~ $ cat /etc/os-releasePRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)"
Then reboot the Zero 2W. It connected OK to the WiFi and I could log in via SSH OK.

Code:

uname -aLinux pi 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.12.47-1+rpt1 (2025-09-16) aarch64 GNU/Linux
Repeated that - all OK. So what am I doing differently to you? |( I do have the ip address 192.168.1.131 reserved in my router. )
