hi! Just FYI, by default the LED does not turn on.

Only a firmware loaded that tells the LED to turn on will make it turn on. Out of the box it does nothing.

Are you using VS Code with the latest Raspberry Pi Pico Extension?

You're working from a certain Raspberry Pi OS, on a Raspberry Pi 5? You tried to load Micropython?

How are you powering the Pico?

Let us know if you need a blink.uf2 file to test.
